<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas adsorbent that suppresses the lowering of nitrogen adsorptive activity of ZSM-5 type zeolite, which is caused by water adsorbed in zeolite, and has a large nitrogen adsorption capacity.SOLUTION: In an adsorbent 1 which has a large nitrogen adsorption capacity, ZSM-5 type zeolite 2 is solidified, a surface area of the zeolite 2, which comes in contact with a gas is reduced, and thereby a speed for adsorbing the gas is also reduced. In addition, in the adsorbent 1, a chemical water-adsorption substance 3 adsorbs water and solidifies the water faster than the zeolite 2, and thereby the lowering of nitrogen adsorptive activity of the ZSM-5 type zeolite 2 is suppressed, which is caused by water adsorbed in the zeolite.</p> |
