The piston-cylinder arrangement has a piston (3) which is axially moved in the interior of a housing cylinder (2) and a sensor system (11,12) that is fixed on the piston and executes the movement of the piston. The sensor system is fastened to the cylinder. The sensor system is contactingly biased against the cylinder. The sensor system is biased against the cylinder through a prestressing element. The prestressing element is provided between the sensor system and piston. A seal ring carrier is fixed to the piston and performs movement of the piston.
