The method involves performing the control of actuators based on the detection of a dynamic driving maneuver, where a steering angle (LW) or its time derivative is used for detecting the dynamic driving maneuver. A chassis is designed to oversteer upon detecting the stroke steering by adjusting the active actuators. The chassis is designed to understeer by setting the active actuators upon detection of stabilization. The actuators are controlled separately at front and rear axle of the vehicle according to the need. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a device for influencing the driving dynamics of a motor vehicle by using active actuators variable suspension; and (2) an electronic control- and regulating unit for influencing the driving dynamics of a motor vehicle.
