A method for spectrophotometric determination of platinum (IV) by which solution of compound of platinum (IV) with analytic reagent is prepared, with bringing pH with solutions of sodium acetate and acetic acid, with heating on boiling water bath, with cooling and measuring light absorption. Solution of platinum (IV) compound is obtained at mixing aliquots of the reagent with of solution of sodium chloride, solution of sodium acetate, with bringing acidity of medium to pH=5.0 by means of acetic acid, with heating during 60 min. (t≈98±) and with measurement of light absorption at λ=350 nm. Cuvettes with thickness of absorbing layer l=1.0 cm are used, and alcohol solution of 5-hydroxyimino-4-imino-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one with initial concentration of 8.0 × 10is used as a reagent. |
