<p>The invention relates to a damping device (1) for a shoe binding on a sliding or rolling board (3) having a longitudinal axis (5). The device includes a bearing plate (10) on which said shoe binding can be immobilised. The bearing plate (10) is mounted so as to be capable of a translation movement perpendicular to the surface thereof on said board (3) via an elastic structure (20a, 20b) associated with rods (30) for guiding the translation movement of the bearing plate and via means (35, 35') for assembling the latter to the board (3). This structure includes two independent elastic means (20a, 20b), with one (20a) located at the front of the bearing plate (10) and the other (20b) at the rear of said bearing plate so as to define between them a free displacement space (25) for the bearing plate (10) between the latter and the board (3). Smooth bearings (50a, 50b) are connected to the bearing plate (10) and are mounted so as to be capable of sliding along said guiding rods (30) that remain connected to the sliding board (3).</p> |
