The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for learning words by using an image, a syllable of a word, and the pronunciation data of native speakers. Provided is the apparatus for for learning words by using an image, a syllable of a word, and the pronunciation data of native speakers, which is configured to comprise a storage unit on which words, word data, the image data to associate of the words, a pronunciation image of the native speakers, phonics waveform data, and syllables classification sound source data are stored; an input unit for word selection and word input; a display unit for the image data related to the displayed words and the word data to be display; a phonics analysis module unit and phonics waveform processing unit for comparing and analyzing the waveform and the similarity of the pronunciation data of the native speakers; a camera unit for collecting the image of the change in facial muscles, the shapes of a mouth, and the position of teeth and a tongue; an image processing unit for normalizing the size and focus of the image of the change in facial muscles, the shapes of the mouth, and the position of the teeth and the tongue; and a control unit for comparing the similarity to display″good″if the similarity is greater than and equal to 50% and″bad″if the similarity is less than 50%. |
