PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain, monitor and manage the device information of each vendor device in a multi-vendor network environment. SOLUTION: The management device includes a storage means for storing obtaining information for a plurality of vendors to manage vendor devices using a network management protocol and obtain device information; an obtaining means for acquiring the device information from the plurality of vendor devices according to the obtaining information; and a management means for managing the obtained device information in association with each of the vendors. The obtaining information includes the location information of standard device information that can be commonly obtained from all of the plurality of vendor devices, and the location information of extension device information that can be obtained for each vendor device depending on each of the plurality of vendor devices.
