A personal information management system and a personal information management method using the same are provided to combine personal information and obtain a facial image by using an image file including face recognition information. A receiver generates a second image file by cropping a facial region by using personal recognition information of a first image file(S30). The receiver determines whether the personal information within the first image file exists(S40). In case the personal information exists, the personal information is selected by the receiving device from the first image file(S50). In case the personal information does not exist within the first image file, the receiver determines whether personal information exists facial recognition information of the first image file(S60). |
