PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of surely sucking a cover member by a sucking means and capable of easily operating rotation of the cover member even if the connector is small. SOLUTION: The connector includes a contact 40 containing a tail part 41 which is conductive to a circuit board CB at a peripheral part of an insulator, at an end part on the side opposite to the escaping direction of a connection object 80, and a cover member 70 which is rotatable between an open position for exposing the tail part and a close position for covering the tail part. The cover member includes a flat sucking surface 78 which becomes almost parallel to the circuit board when comes to the open position, for sucking by a sucking means 87, and a gripping projection 77 which becomes almost parallel to the circuit board when positioned at the open position, with its one surface constituting an extension flat surface 79 that is continuous from the flat sucking surface.
