The mechanism has a measuring system connected to a display system for displaying time-related/other piece of information (2). The measuring system comprises a quick correction device with an epicycloidal gear train. The correction device includes an external planetary wheel connected at outer toothing. An internal planetary wheel is connected to a correction unit via a satellite gear, where the gear train of the display system is moved by the gear train of the measuring system or by the correction unit without inducing stress in the gear train of the measuring system. An independent claim is also included for a timepiece. |
