The present invention relates to an automatic welding device and an automatic welding method. The automatic welding device can improve welding quality of a welding workpiece since a fixing unit can be changed according to the shape of the welding workpiece by using a cylinder and can perform welding work at an exact welding position with required intensity. For example, disclosed is the automatic welding device comprising: a welding workpiece fixing unit for fixing a welding workpiece by operating horizontally according to the shape of the welding workpiece; a preheating part for preheating the welding workpiece; a laser sensor for sensing a welding position by scanning the surface of the preheated welding workpiece; a welding member for welding the welding position; a horizontally moving part for horizontally moving the welding member according to the welding position; a vertically moving part for vertically moving the welding workpiece according to the welding position; and a control unit for controlling the welding workpiece fixing unit, the preheating unit, the laser sensor, the welding member, the horizontally moving unit, and the vertically moving unit. |
