The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for learning words by using image data and pronunciation data of native speakers. Provided is the apparatus for learning words by using the image data and the pronunciation data of the native speakers, which is configured to comprise a storage unit on which word data, image data to associate of the words, pronunciation image of the native speakers, and phonics waveform data; an input unit for phonics data selection and phonics data input; a display unit for which the word data having the selected word is displayed and which the image data related to the displayed word is displayed; an audio processing unit for receiving an input of voice of a learner; a phonics analysis module unit and phonics waveform processing unit for comparing and analyzing the waveform and the similarity of the pronunciation data of the native speakers; a camera unit for collecting the image of the change in facial muscles, the shapes of a mouth, and the position of teeth and a tongue; an image processing unit for normalizing the size and focus of the image of the change in facial muscles, the shapes of the mouth, and the position of the teeth and the tongue; and a control unit for comparing the similarity to display″good″if the similarity is greater than and equal to 50% and″bad″if the similarity is less than 50%. |
