A rotating electrical machine (1) having: a shaft (2) rotatably mounted to rotate around a central rotation axis (3); a rotor (4) carried by the shaft (2); a stator (5) which supports stator windings (6) and is arranged around the rotor (4) to enclose the rotor (4) therein; a cylindrical casing (8) which encloses the stator (5) therein; and a cooling circuit (12) which is intended for the circulation of a cooling fluid, is obtained at the casing (8), has a single common inlet opening (13) for the cooling fluid axially arranged in the centre of a lateral wall (9) of the casing (8), and two helicoidal paths (14), each of which is a mirror-image twin of the other one, centrally originates from the common inlet opening (13) and extends from the centre of the casing (8) towards a corresponding end of the casing (8). |
