<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a covering element (3) whose opening allows an actuation key (9) to actuate a bolt (7) by swiveling the key in a plane perpendicular to a plane of the covering element. The bolt includes a crossing opening in which an end (13) of the key is introduced when the key is introduced into the opening of the covering element. The opening of the covering element is formed to guide a passage of the key through the covering element and introduction of the end of the key into the crossing opening of the bolt before the actuation of the bolt by swiveling the key. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for unlocking and locking a covering element e.g. pad and lid, of a manhole (all claimed), delimited on a framework of a support element in a public highway for providing access to an inspection well of an underground gallery. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The opening of the covering element allows the actuation key to actuate the bolt by swiveling the key in the plane perpendicular to the plane of the covering element so as to easily unlock the bolt locking the covering element within the framework of the support element in a safe manner.
