A method, at a display control device, for transforming image data, the method comprising receiving portions of image data from a host device, wherein the portions of image data are based on tiles of an image and the image comprises tiles in a tile order with each tile comprising pixels in a pixel order. Display order information is provided by a host device which provides an order for providing the portions of image data to a display device and generating different image data having a different tile and pixel order based on the display order information in order to display a transformed image. The image data may be compressed and may be provided to the decompressor in an order different to the tile order based on the the display order information. The transformation of the image may included full inversion wherein the original pixel order is completely reversed or 90 degree inversion. |
