The present invention relates to a method to recover copper and gypsum from an acidic aqueous solution containing copper and sulfate ions, including: (a) a step of immersing a copper-containing compound by adding a reducing agent to the acidic aqueous solution containing the copper and sulfate ions, and filtering and recovering the immersed copper-containing compound; and (b) a step of immersing the gypsum by adding a calcium-containing compound to a filtrate remained after filtration, and filtering and recovering the gypsum. According to the recovery method of the present invention, copper and gypsum can be efficiently recovered from acidic liquids containing copper and sulfate ions discharged in the electronics industry; and more specifically processes to manufacture printed circuit boards and the likes. |
