Tablets 13 or like articles are enclosed in pockets 15 formed by securing together folded portions of a strip 91. The strip is packaged in a carton 1 formed with a discharge opening 6 in one side wall and provided with a bridge piece 4 which co-operates with the carton top 2 to form a guide passage through which the strip is pulled to displace the tablets. The edge of the opening 6 functions as a knife to break open the folds and cause ejection of .the tablets in succession as shown. The bridge piece 4 is formed with a window 5 through which numerals on the strip may be observed, these numerals indicating the number of tablets remaining in the carton. |
