PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which selects image data to use from the large amount of image data and creates an album (images) easily. SOLUTION: A printer 100 comprises: image input means to input image data; layout determination means to determine a layout of the image data to be printed and accessory information about the image data; image data extraction means to extract the image data to be printed from the image data input by the image input means based on a date on which the image data are taken; image allocation means to allocate the image data extracted by the image data extraction means in the layout determined by the layout determination means; image color determination means to determine a color which appears the most frequently based on the image data allocated in the layout; and accessory information adjustment means to adjust the color of the accessory information according to the color determined by the image color determination means.
