<p>The invention relates to a home automation control device that comprises receiving means (14) configured to receive at least one control command (A, B, C, D, E, F) contained in a first data container (36), transmission means (16) configured to transmit at least one infrared transmission command contained in a second data container (38), and communication means (20) configured to receive at least one conversion table (32, 34) that comprises device-specific infrared transmission commands. A particularly simple configuration of a novel consumer electronics device is made possible by the provision of conversion means (18) which are configured to determine the control command from the first data container (36), convert this determined control command into a corresponding infrared transmission command in accordance with the conversion table (34), and package this infrared transmission command into the second data container (38).</p> |
