<p>Plastic strip or profile, preferably an edge strip comprises a joint surface to be bonded, which is treated by flame silicatization to form a silicon dioxide coating and is adhesion promoter free. Independent claims are also included for: (1) manufacturing a plastic strip, comprising pretreating the joint surface to be bonded by flame silicatization; and (2) fixing a plastic strip on a workpiece, preferably on the narrow surface of a furniture panel, comprising adhering the strip of plastic material by dispensing with a coupling agent having adhesive to the workpiece.</p> |
