The spectrometer has an opening (10) through which light coming from an object is passed. An optical path is provided for light rays passed through by the opening, and is formed by two curved prisms (11, 13) e.g. biprisms, for producing spectral splitting of the light rays, respectively. A reflector (12) is provided between the two prisms for reflecting the light rays returning from the prism (11). The prisms have concave curved surfaces (11a, 13a) and convex curved surfaces (11b, 13b) and are arranged relative to the opening. One of the surfaces is located downstream to the optical path.
|
