The present invention relates to a shock absorbing device for a sliding door which is provided to make the sliding door slowly and stably closed and to minimize impact by using a simple structure when the sliding door, which is opened and closed along a rail, is closed from an opened state. The sliding door is opened and closed by comprising a vertical roller which is provided on each upper bracket formed on the upper surface of furniture and connected to the upper end of the door to slide on one upper rail formed on the upper surface of the furniture; and a horizontal roller which is provided on each lower bracket connected to the lower end of the door to slide along one bottom side rail formed on the bottom surface of the furniture. The shock absorbing device comprises a shock absorbing unit provided on a position near both ends of the bottom side rail, having shock absorbing power by being gradually contracted when each door is closed after being opened; and a pressurizing unit mounted on the lower bracket, coming in close contact with the shock absorbing unit to contract the shock absorbing unit. The shock absorbing device for a sliding door is provided to have the sliding door stably closed, to minimize damage to the door or furniture by reducing impact, and to prevent impact noises from being generated between the door and the furniture. |
