Disclosed are a method and a system for providing a coupon service. The coupon service providing system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a user terminal which generates and stores a coupon representative code for a coupon usage in an affiliated store and exposes the coupon representative code for using a coupon; an affiliated store terminal which obtains terminal identification information by reading the coupon representative code and generates a coupon usage confirmation request information which includes the terminal identification information and affiliated store identification information; and a coupon management server which extracts usable coupon information which corresponds to the terminal identification information and the affiliated store identification information and transmits the usable coupon information to the affiliated store terminal or a user terminal if the coupon usage confirmation request information is received from the affiliated store terminal.
