PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid continuation of manual adjustment as it is by switching of paper or switching of jobs, thus performing actions with an appropriate contents of adjustment when manual adjustment is set with one or more items of operation. SOLUTION: An image formation device includes a control part that controls operation of each part in the image formation device capable of automatic adjustment and manual adjustment for one or more operation items, and an operation display part. The control part makes it possible to select the automatic adjustment and the manual adjustment for the operation items through the operation display part. When the manual operation is selected, by making a display to promote judgment on the changing manual operation for the operation display part at a timing of switching of paper or switching of jobs, judgment on whether or not changing of the manual operation is required at an appropriate timing, and inappropriate adjustment can be prevented, thus maintaining favorable image formation quality.
