The present invention provides a paper sheet conveying apparatus and a paper sheet processing apparatus to prevent an adverse condition of discharging paper sheets at a separation part in a conveying path under an unperceived state. The paper sheet conveying apparatus is provided with the conveying path and an operation knob. The conveying path provided with a drive unit is capable of connecting with and separating from other conveying paths. The operation knob is connected with the drive unit and arranged near the separating part of the conveying path and the other conveying paths in the manner of being capable of rotating in one direction and the other. A manual drive unit is operated according to the operation knob for conveying the paper sheets. Under the condition of taking out the paper sheet help up in the conveying path, the operation knob can be rotated at the same time of determining whether the paper sheet held up in the conveying path is discharged, and the adverse condition of discharging paper sheets at the separation part in a conveying path under the unperceived state can be prevented. |
