The apparatus (2) has a steam generator. A cooking chamber (4) is limited by a muffle. An apparatus door (6) is provided with a door glass inner pane (8) for closing and locking a feed aperture of the cooking chamber. Anti-fog coating (10) is made of hydrophilic polymer i.e. polyethylene glycol, and arranged for preventing fog entered into an inner side of the door glass inner pane of the apparatus door. A display (12) is provided at the door glass inner pane for displaying operation of an apparatus main portion.
