The invention provides a secondary battery which can reduce cost and increase work precision of a safety valve. The secondary battery comprises an electrode body and a housing capable of accommodating the electrode body. The housing is formed by folding metallic plates and welding edges of the metallic plates. A thin-wall part having a thinner thickness than other parts is disposed at the edge of the metallic plate. |
