<p>The lamp has electrodes (11, 12) that extend into a discharge space of a transparent discharge vessel for producing a gas discharge. Power supplying lines (103, 13, 104, 14) are passed out of the vessel for supplying energy to the electrodes. The vessel is provided partially with an electrically conductive coating (107), so that a capacitive coupling is produced between the coating and the electrode (11) and/or supply lines (103, 13).</p> |
