<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a water quality purification function of a masonry purification bank, even when exposed to a dysoxic water mass and a blue tide. <P>SOLUTION: This system 1 for maintaining the function of the masonry purification bank includes a bubble generator 9 which is arranged in the dam body of the masonry purification bank 2, a tide gauge 21 for measuring a tide level of an outer water area 14, a dissolved oxygen analyzer 22 for measuring a dissolved oxygen concentration of the outer water area 14, and a control unit 23 for driving and controlling the bubble generator 9 depending on values measured by the tide gauge 21 and the dissolved oxygen analyzer 22.
