The thermally insulated ventilated building facade has a load bearing wall structure (1) that is provided with an exterior-mounted single-layered or multi-layered heat insulating layer (2) and a substructure (3). The substructure is provided with a cover (4). A back-ventilation air layer (5) is formed by cover, and attached at distance before heat insulating layer. A horizontally extended fire barrier (6) is arranged in a region between load bearing wall structure and cover, and extended over entire cross section of air layer.
