A punch 20 for a tablet press 10. A body portion 22 of the punch 20 comprises a plurality of cavities 32. The cavities 32 are located at a predetermined angular location about the longitudinal axis 26 of the body 22. Each cavity comprises a key feature 34. Each key feature 34 has a root portion 35 which is shaped to fit tightly inside the volume defined by a respective cavity 32 so it can be held inside that cavity 32 only by friction.
