The present invention relates to an efficient cesium decontamination method for the asphalt contaminated by cesium, wherein decontaminating the cesium in an lower level of deregulation concentration by washing and electrokinetic method, and washing the contaminated asphalt with nitric acid with toluene. The method also performs the electrokinetic decontamination additionally if cesium is more than the regulatory concentration.
