A foot for a table, the foot comprising a sandbag or beanbag (3, Fig.4) attached to a metal plate (2, Fig.4) holding a male screw-thread or bolt (1, Fig.4). The screw-thread screws into a female screw-thread formed in the bottom of the table leg (2, Fig.1). The beanbag may be made of a hardwearing plastic, rubber or canvas. The table may optionally have a circular spirit level bubble (3, Fig.1) integrally formed with the table top to aid in leveling the table. An independent claim is included for a beanbag attached to a cup that accepts a table leg, the cup having a butterfly screw or bolt that tightens to clamp the table leg inside the cup. |
