<p>The gliding board i.e. ski (1) has a core (5) on a portion of the length of the board. An upper sub-assembly (11) and a lower sub-assembly (12) are placed on the core, and lateral edges (6, 7) surround the core, where the lateral edges are partially made from a thermocompressed fibrous material. The density of the lateral edges ranges between 0.8 and 1.2, preferably between 0.9 and 1, and the Young's modulus of the lateral edges ranges between 10 and 20 Gpa, preferably ranging between 13 and 17 GPa, where the edges are made of thermocompressed bamboo.</p> |
