PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance recovery method of the state of charge of a battery system capable of reducing the size and weight when compared with the performance of the battery system. SOLUTION: In the balance recovery method of the state of charge of a battery system where a high output battery (10) having a small internal resistance (R1) and a small capacity is connected in parallel with a high capacity battery (20) having an internal resistance (R2) larger than that of the high output battery and a capacity larger than that of the high output battery, balance of the state of charge of the battery system is recovered by bringing the state of charge (SOC) of the high output battery (10) close to that of the high capacity battery (20) after a current is supplied from the battery system to a load.
