The present invention relates to a data display method and a mobile terminal and, particularly, to a method for security of displayed data and a mobile terminal to realize the same. A data display method according to an embodiment of the present invention is performed by a mobile terminal having a first transparent screen and a second screen positioned below the first screen, and comprises the steps of: displaying data on any one of the first and second screens; determining whether a security request event occurs; if the security request event occurs, dividing the data into a first portion and a second portion; and displaying the first portion on a part of the first screen, and displaying the second portion on the second screen such that the second portion is projected onto the other part of the first screen.
