MANUFACTURING FLEXIBLE ORGANIC ELECTRONIC DEVICES

A method for manufacturing a flexible organic electronic device includes a step of forming a first part including a first flexible substrate, under conditions of a first set to provide a barrier system; a step of separately forming a second part including at least one organic electronic device area deposited on a second flexible substrate under conditions of a second set different from the conditions of the first set; and a step of arranging the first part on the second part in order to cover the organic electronic device area (it is not essential for the first part to contact the second part). The organic electronic device area is not arranged to contact other solid material physically before the first part is arranged on the second part.
