The present invention relates to a charging system for a user terminal and a charging method for the same. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the charging system for a user terminal includes a user terminal; an electric wire unit connected to a battery in the user terminal; and a terminal connection unit formed at the end of the electric wire unit. The terminal connection unit can be separated from or connected to a charger connection unit supplying external power to the user terminal, and the terminal connection unit and the charger connection unit include a positive terminal connected to a positive wire and a negative terminal connected to a negative wire. The positive terminal of the terminal connection unit and the positive terminal of the charger connection unit directly come into contact with the negative terminal of the terminal connection unit and the negative terminal of the charger connection unit so that electricity is conducted.
