The present invention relates to a method for restoring color by using a correlation between a color channel and a near infrared (NIR) channel in an input full-band image including a visible light band and an invisible light band. The method estimates visible light band information by removing invisible light band information from an input full-band image, grasps adaptive chromaticity coefficients selected for a case in which a difference between actual visible light band information and the estimated visible light band information is the smallest, based on a K-means clustering manner, and suppresses interference between the color channel and the NIR channel using the adaptive chromaticity coefficients. Moreover, the method prevents error amplification by generating invisible light band information (N^nir) of the NIR channel using full-band information (Nall) of the NIR channel and NIR full-band information estimated from the color channel.
