1. A method comprising:
maintaining, by at least one computing device, data representative of a user profile associated with a first user of a first mobile device, the user profile defining the first user as a member of an entourage that also includes a second user associated with a second mobile device; detecting, by the at least one computing device, that the first and second mobile devices are located in a geographic vicinity; facilitating, by the at least one computing device in response to the detecting that the first and second mobile devices are located in the geographic vicinity, a transmission of a social interaction code from the first mobile device associated with said first user to the second mobile device associated with said second user; and detecting, by the at least one computing device, a selection by the first user of a hotkey included within the first mobile device and associated with the social interaction code, wherein the hotkey comprises a button preprogrammed to transmit the social interaction code in response to user selection of the button.
