PURPOSE: An image based short message service method and mobile communication terminal therefor are provided to confirm a message through an event for recognizing a card. CONSTITUTION: An image recognizing unit(150) recognizes an image photographed through a camera. A code matching block(160) matches the image with a pre-stored image code. A message generating unit(170) generates a message by including a code for a specific image. A message transmitting/receiving unit transmits the generated message to a mobile terminal. |
