The present application relates to a liquid crystal device, a composition capable of forming a liquid crystal layer, a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal device, an apparatus for manufacturing a liquid crystal device, and a use of a liquid crystal device. The liquid crystal device of the present application, for example, is a device capable of implementing a normal transmission mode or a normal blocking mode which has a high contrast ratio, is driven at a low driving voltage, and can exhibit an excellent durability such as thermal stability. The liquid crystal device can be applied to a variety of light modulating devices such as a smart window, a window protective film, a flexible display device, an active retarder for a 3D image display, or a viewing angle control film. |
