Disclosed are an apparatus and a method to determine a modulation and coding scheme in a multi-cast/broadcast service, and a multi-cast/broadcast service providing system using the apparatus and the method. The apparatus to determine a modulation and coding scheme in a multi-cast/broadcast service includes: a channel information receiving unit which receives wireless channel quality information classified by the respective MBS services; and a modulation and coding level determination unit which determines the modulation and coding level based on the received wireless channel quality information classified by the respective MBS services.
