A composition (A) for oral administration of unpleasant tasting active agents (I) comprises a mixture of 15-30% (I) with 60-80% glycerol ester or fatty acid, mixed with a surfactant and optionally a wax, (A) being prepared by a trickle cooling process providing a particle size of less than 350 micro m. An Independent claim is included for the preparation of (A) involving mixing (I) with a molten glycerol ester, adding the other excipients, carrying out trickle cooling by spraying from a bifluid nozzle at the top of a tower, into which a flow of cold gas is optionally introduced into counter-current. |
