A terminal and a character input method thereof by using look and pick are provided to input characters by only the motion of eyes and enhance the convenience of the user. A control member recognizes a waiting mode of a terminal(S301). The control member confirms whether the character input mode is selected by look and pick by a user(S303). When the character input mode is selected by look and pick by a user, the control member displays a character kind selection window, a display window and an input window to a display member(S305). When the character input mode by look and pick is selected, the character kind selection window, the display window and the input window is displayed at the display member. A confirmation key for confirming the end of the character input mode by look and pick is displayed as the shape like a soft key. The control member confirms whether the eye flickering is recognized(S307). When the eye flickering is recognized, the control member arranges and displays the characters selected by the eye flickering and displays to the display member(S309). |
