According to the present invention, a flywheel energy storage apparatus used for a railway vehicle and using a wind force comprises: a duct (100) installed on the roof of the railway vehicle, and guiding wind, which is generated by the driving of the railway vehicle, thereinto; a rotation part (200) including blades (210), a rotary shaft (220), and a driving shaft (230); a generation part (400) producing power using the rotating force of the driving shaft (230); a power storage part storing the power generated by the generation part (400); a flywheel (500) installed on the driving shaft (230), and allowing the rotating force of the driving shaft (230) to be maximally maintained even if the railway vehicle is stopped while driven, wherein the blades (210) installed inside the duct (100) are rotated by the wind guided into the duct (100), the rotary shaft (220) coupled to the central portion of the blades (210) is rotated along with the blades (210), and the driving shaft (230) is axially connected to the rotary shaft (220). |
