Provided are an electronic parking brake and a control method thereof. The electronic parking brake generates a steering control signal using longitudinal acceleration information and lateral acceleration information and delivers the signal to a power steering control unit. The control method allows an EPB device to perform EPB-MDPS cooperation control to reduce spin in an SRU emergency dynamic control state. Therefore, the possibility of spin in an SRU emergency dynamic control state can be reduced. |
