METHOD OF HANDLING APN BASED CONGESTION CONTROL AND RELATED COMMUNICATION DEVICE

Provided is a method for initiating a service by an access point name (APN) in a wireless communications system for a mobile device having multiple connections to the APN in the wireless communications system. The mobile device has multiple connections to the access point name (APN). The method comprises the following steps of: disconnecting at least one first connection among the multiple connections from the APN; maintaining at least one second connection among the multiple connections by the mobile device; and initializing a service including the APN after disconnecting the first connection from the APN. The APN is in a congested state or in an overloaded state.
