The method involves placing vehicles e.g. rear wheel drive vehicle, at the disposal of a collection of users for their journeys in a territory with a set of garages (T1-T7). The garages are located at a short distance if the territory is a built-up urban area equipped with a public transport network e.g. railway transport lines (R1, R2). A supplement to the network is constituted by the vehicles to allow the user to pick up a vehicle, make an individual journey, and return the vehicle to a reception area of the garages located in the immediate vicinity of his destination. An independent claim is also included for a system for transporting persons in an urbanized site. |
