The present invention relates to an electronic musical instrument capable of acquiring accurate scale data and volume data and being played with the same operation as real musical instruments. The electronic musical instrument includes: a microphone which detects sounds generated by incoming expiratory air; an expiratory air intensity measuring unit which measures the intensity of the expiratory air based on a detected sound signal; a proximity sensor which is installed in a part corresponding to one or more branch holes separately from the holes, and senses the contact of fingers to the branch holes; and a control unit which generates the scale data and volume data based on the measured intensity of the expiratory air and the sensed data by the proximity sensor. The volume data includes at least note-on, note-off, and velocity.
